TV Bet are running the first ever contest to celebrate Britain’s secret army of doggie football fans – And we have two season tickets to giveaway, one human and one dog.

You may think we have gone nuts, but it is the hounds we have discovered which are truly nutty about football.

We have already had some great entries. A beer swigging dog from Mitcham in Surrey, loves watching his favourite team Chelsea play. According to his owner Terri Crockett, Max the mongrel has never missed a televised Chelsea game yet and he also has hidden talents, as he predicts the score by barking a certain number of times before Kick Off.

Max goes crazy when the blues score, but seems to have taken a dislike to Manchester United’s Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger, as he barks and growls at the screen each time he sees them.

Arsenal fan Ginny Smith from Stevenage, Herts, has also impressed the judges.

The six year old border terrier loves to watch football on TV – particularly the Gunners.

Max and Ginny along with lots of other doggie football fans across the UK is now in with a chance of winning their very own season ticket.

From now on our furry fans no longer have to cower in the shadows. Now they can get right out onto the pitch where they belong.
