Tuesday Night Both Teams To Score Treble 9th April – Consolation Likely For Turkish Champions
Tonight sees the 2nd leg clashes of the Champions League as well as a smattering of domestic fixtures. Despite the rather sparse amount of games I’ve managed to find 3 appealing games to make a nice little Goals Galore treble for Tuesday night.
Here are my thoughts for tonight’s games:
Galatasaray v Real Madrid 7.45pm
Both teams to score odds: 8/13 888sport
Galatasaray have a momentous task ahead of them if they are going to progress to the semi-final stage of the Champions League, and I for one don’t think for a second that they can do it. However, any team travelling to the Turk Telekom Arena is guaranteed a tough battle, and Real Madrid will certainly need to keep their wits about them.
The hosts have lost just 3 of their last 13 home Champions League ties, and will fondly remember beating the Galactico’s 3-2 all the way back in 2001.
Jose Mourinho’s side indeed have one foot in the semi-finals, but they have conceded at least 1 goal in every away tie in this season’s competition, and there is every reason to believe that the Turkish champions can grab at least a consolation goal in front of staunch home fans. This looks a great clash for both teams to score.
Bradford City v Bristol Rovers 7.45pm
Both teams to score odds: 4/5 888sport
Both teams still have chances of making the play-offs, Bristol Rovers slightly less so, but that should make for an exciting clash at the Coral Windows Stadium on Tuesday night.
A win for the hosts could see them leapfrog Exeter into the final play-off spot (depending on results), while a victory for Rovers would really see them in the mix for a final push into the green zone.
The Bantams are undefeated in 5 at home, but the fact that they’ve kept just 2 clean sheets in their last 12 at home in all competitions suggests that in form Bristol Rovers, who have collected 13 of the last 15 points available, should comfortably be able to score at least once.
Bradford have failed to score in just 1 of their last 10 home league games, which further increases my confidence that both teams will score.
Burton Albion v Wycombe Wanderers 7.45pm
Both teams to score odds: 4/5 888sport
Although Burton have realistic chances of automatic promotion to League 1 next season, the pressure seems to be getting to the Brewers, and just 2 points form their last 4 games isn’t good enough, and a shocking 7-1 loss against Port Vale last time out shows just how much Burton are beginning to crumble under the strain.
The same can’t be said of Wycombe. The Chairboys have a tiny chance of a play-off place, but in reality the pressure is off them. Consecutive away wins over Oxford and Morecambe should give them the confidence required to make a good fist of this game, and a 3-0 win over today’s opponents in the reverse fixture suggests that Burton will really need to earn any points they might gain here.
That said, the home side have failed to score only once in their last 15 at the Pirelli Stadium, and being the 2nd most potent home attack in the division suggests that they should score at least once. Both teams should score here without too much fuss.
Tonight’s both teams to score treble pays an industry best price of 4.25/1 at 888sport, a £10 bet returns £52.50!
