Tennis Tips Friday 14th June – A Tasty Double From Halle

Our only bet on Thursday played like a tune and helped us collect a superb 3/4 return with 888sport. Tommy Haas beat Ernests Gulbis in straight sets, but the 7-6 6-4 scoreline beat the line of 22.5 total games that we tipped up!

We really like the value in this double as we see two comfortable wins for the Germans in their home tournament.

Tommy Haas faces off against Gael Monfils before Philipp Kohlschreiber takes on Mikhail Youzhny.

Haas is playing some great tennis at the moment, completed a comfortable straight sets win over Gulbis yesterday, and is also defending champion here after a win against Roge Federer last year.

There’s also doubts over how Monfils is at the moment. The Frenchman has played some good tennis recently however he’s already withdrawn from Wimbledon which suggests something isn’t quite right with him.

The other match is a nightmare match-up for Youzhny. He has technically never beat Kohlschreiber as his only victory was from a retirement.

Kohlschreiber however has beat Youzhny 7 times. Kohlschreiber loves it at this event as well with him playing here 3 times , reaching quarter finals , semi finals and even winning the event.
