The last game of the season usually brings a few goals and that’s exactly what…
Team TVBet BTTS Sat/Sun 24th/25th Nov: A 15/2 4 Team Acca
I’ve asked my Facebook betting group to produce the goods this Saturday for Goals Galore, letting them know that they now have some catching up to do after my 25/1 winner last weekend.
The fellas are up for the challenge though, and have thought long and hard about their Saturday both teams to score acca.
Here are their picks:
Brighton vs Bolton 3.00pm
By Jack Ellis
7th-placed Brighton welcome Bolton Wanderers to the Amex looking to extend their 5 match unbeaten run. The Seasiders have both scored and conceded in 4 of their last 5 games (80%) and will be confident of at least a goal infront of the home crowd.
Bolton meanwhile languish in 17th position and will need to start improving their results if they are to mount a serious assault on an immediate return to the Premier League.
The Trotters haven’t been shy in front of goal this season, it’s the defensive side that has been the problem, they’ve been involved in 14 BTTS matches out of their last 16, and are almost considered a staple of the BTTS coupon these days.
Wolves v Nottingham Forest 3.00pm
By Ciaran Conaghan
All the stats point to goals on this one when an under achieving Wolves side thus far take on Forest this weekend.
Wolves have played 8 home games so far this season and have scored in all of them. Likewise Forest have a 100% record on their travels when finding the net in every one of their 8 games away from the City Ground to date.
A further case for both to find the net on Saturday is endorsed by the fact that in Wolves’ 8 home games this bet would have come in 7 times and remarkably the exact same stat for Forest when playing away.
Watford vs Blackpool 3.00pm
By Paul T
My pick for the weekend is a game between two mid table sides in the Championship, separated by only three points.
Both teams may be finding it tough this season, but have still been finding the net on a regular basis. Blackpool’s home games this season have averaged 3.75 goals per game, with 6/8 of these games seeing both keepers having to pick the ball out of the back of the net. They have also failed to score at home only once this season.
Watford’s away games have seen both teams score on 7/8 occasions, failing to score only once also on their travels. Their away games have averaged 4.12 goals this season. Given the stats and the well matched squads in this game, it looks like a goal rush in waiting, surely both teams can score in this game, and at 8/13 it looks a good bet to me.
Southampton vs Newcastle 3.00pm (Sunday)
By Roshan Sood
Both teams have a great goal-scoring record this season. On average at home, Southampton have score 1.67 goals and concede 1.83.
Newcastle average 1.2 goals scored per game and concede 1.6 away from home.
Both teams have scored in 9 of Southampton’s last 10 games and 7/10 for Newcastle. Both teams always look dangerous on the counter and when we consider that Southampton have scored against Everton, City and United, I see no way past them not scoring.
As we know, Newcastle have several players capable of changing any game in an instant. BTTS in this game is a banker for me.
