Sunday Goals Galore Treble 10th March – Mothers Day Won’t Keep The Goals Away!

A Sunday afternoon wouldn’t be complete without a venture into the Goals Galore market. It may be Mother’s Day but that doesn’t stop us making some cheeky cash while they’re not looking. Here are TVBet’s top picks for goals at both ends today:

Roda JC vs Feyenoord

Although Roda sit 3rd from bottom in the Eredivisie, don’t let that put you off goals today. They’ve scored 11 goals in their last 5 home games and have failed to score in only 3 of their 12 home games this season. Their last 3 home games have finished 3-3, 2-2 and 4-1 indicating that they can score for fun but also ship goals. 4 of their last 5 games both home and away have seen both teams find the back of the net.

Feyenoord sit 3rd in the league but have been relatively unimpressive in the league away from home with just 5 wins in 13 games. They’ve failed to score in 4 of these 14 games on the road but normally if they grab one goal they will go on to score a few. They’ve scored 8 goals in their last 3 on the road and seem to have found their boots. They’re still in with a shot at the title with so many slip ups at the top of the league by all teams so will be going for goals today.

Their previous meeting back in November 2012 finished 5-2 to Feyenoord. If both teams can score there then they can definitely bag a goal each here.

Inter Milan vs Bologna

4th in the league and 12 points behind leaders Juventus and all but out of the Europa League, Inter look to be struggling and part of the reason for this is their inability to keep a clean sheet. They’ve kept just 3 clean sheets at home in their 13 games and have both scored and conceded in 4 of their last 5 games. However, they’ve only failed to score once at home this season which is encouraging for our little bet.

Bologna travel to Milan this evening knowing that they have found a goal here on their last 3 visits and they won’t be scared to fight for this given Inter’s midweek disappointment which could have well affected morale.

They’ve found it difficult to score on their travels this season but recent games have shown signs of improvement. Bologna have scored in their last 8 consecutive games and look set to continue that trend today. In their last 5 away games they’ve notched 3 goals away at 2nd place Napoli and managed to nick a goal at 3rd place AC Milan. They are certainly capable on their day.

Liverpool vs Tottenham Hotspur

We couldn’t have a Goals Galore treble without the inclusion of a UK fixture that looks set for bags of goals. Both of these sides are in great form and are scoring for fun at the moment and there should be a cracking game on the cards.

Liverpool may well have won their last 2 Premier League fixtures by an aggregate of 9-0 but against Swansea and Wigan we can’t exactly call their opponents a tough test. In 14 home league games this season Liverpool have failed to score only 3 times but with 4 clean sheets in their last 5 home games, the stats would automatically steer you away from a Goals Galore selection.

However, Liverpool are yet to keep a clean sheet at Anfield this season against any team above them in the league. Spurs fall into that category and I can’t see them travelling to Anfield and not picking up a goal or two today.

Spurs have scored in their last 10 league games and away from home this season they have failed to score just once in 14 games and kept only 3 clean sheets in the process. 71.43% of Spurs’ away games have seen both teams find the back of the net and though recent head to heads at Anfield and also Liverpool’s record for clean sheets recently both pointing to one of these teams finding the net, the goalscoring form of both of them is hard to ignore.
