Singles Bar Tips Tuesday 19th March – Take Yeovil To Make Their Mark Against Swindon
Wow! After last night’s 2 from 2 we now stand at 4 winners form our last 4 selections and things are looking good in the Singles Bar!
Tonight we have a fairly small sample of English lower league football as well as a pretty full fixture list in the Conference, and once again I’ve found a couple of bets that interest me. Here are my singles bar tips for Tuesday night:
Yeovil take on Swindon Town tonight in a League 1 battle that would see the winner increase their play off credentials no end. Both teams are locked on 63 points after 37 games played, and occupy 6th and 5th in the league respectively.
The bet I’ve got my eyes on is Yeovil to score over 1.5 goals at 7/4 with Bet365. The reason I go for this and not the home win is the fact that visitors Swindon are a very capable team with plenty of match winners, and I’m not completely confident that Yeovil scoring 2 goals will actually win the game.
The Glovers have been in magnificent form recently, and have scored 2 goals or more in 7 of their last 8 home games, including impressive wins over Brentford (3-0), Leyton Orient (3-0) and MK Dons (2-1).
My advice is not to go too heavy on this one, but the 7/4 available at Bet365 looks a nice value bet to me and I’ll be getting on.
Advised bet:
Yeovil to score over 1.5 team goals – 7/4 Bet365
Yeovil to score over 1.5 team goals – 7/4 Bet365
My second advised bet for tonight is Stockport (double chance) in their visit to Luton Town. The home side were considered amongst the favourites to at least make the play-offs earlier in the season, but The Hatters appear to be self destructing.
With just 1 win in their last 12 games (which happened to be a 1-0 win in this reverse fixture) they are in turmoil, and the 13 point gap between them and the final play-off spot is ever increasing.
Stockport are no great shakes, but they got back to winning ways at the weekend with a 2-0 victory over Barrow, and will at least take some confidence to Kenilworth Road tonight.
A straight win might be a bit too much to ask for the visitors (Luton have drawn 3 of their last 5) but the 7/5 Bet365 are offering about Stockport or the draw looks a nice price considering the hosts current lack of any form.
Advised bet:
Stockport (double chance) – 7/5 Bet365
