Record signing Gonzalo Higuain has certainly increased Juve’s attacking qualities, scoring six league goals already on the back of his incredible 2015-16 campaign at Napoli. Compatriot Paulo Dybala has impressed in the early weeks too while Gianluigi Buffon and his defenders have already managed four clean sheets.

But while Juventus look formidable, they have lost at the San Siro already this season with their one league defeat being inflicted by Inter. Playing 35 minutes with 10 men in France on Tuesday night arguably isn’t the best preparation either, even if the Italians did still register a 1-0 win in Lyon.
