Scandinavian Football Double For Sunday 22nd July: Mypa Over Priced At Home To Honka

After studying the Scandinavian fixtures for a bit of betting value this weekend, I’ve stumbled on a couple of fixtures that really stand out. I’ve done pretty well with my tips from this neck of the woods since the end of the English season, and I’m hoping today’s double up does the business.

MyPa (double chance) v Honka 4.30pm – 8/15 Bet365

MyPa have been well over priced here in my opinion, and are well worth backing in today’s clash with Honka. While their last 5 game form doesn’t look particularly inspiring, MyPa have a W5, D1, L1 record at home so far this season, and Honka’s away form leaves plenty to be desired- they’ve won just 2 of their 8 games on their travels.

Bookmakers feel that MyPa may be distracted by their Europa League clash against Rapid Bucharest on Thursday, but Honka are nothing special, and the 21/10 offered by BetVictor about the home win looks far too big to stay away from. I would certainly advise a single bet on them at the odds available, but for the purpose of this double I’ve decided to jump on the double chance outcome for MyPa and the draw, which looks a great price at 8/15 with Bet365.

MyPa lead their opponents by just 1 point in the league, and their good home form makes the double chance tip look a really solid bet.

Brann v Aalesund 3.00pm – 10/11 Bet365

Brann have been blowing hot and cold lately  but their home form has been very solid, and that should be enough to claim the 3 points when they welcome Aalesund today.

Despite being stuck in mid table obscurity at present, Brann are undefeated in their last 5 at home; claiming 13 points and scoring a whopping 15 goals.

Visitors Aalesund can be a tricky team to beat, but without a single away win so far this season, they are vulnerable against a team that seem to be scoring for fun on home turf, and it’s very likely that Brann will get revenge for the 2-0 loss that today’s opponents inflicted on them in the reverse fixture back in May.

The 10/11 on offer about the home win is a very fair price considering the contrast in form between these two teams, and Brann have to be the tip here.
