Saturday Accumulator Looks The Business

What a brilliant few days for football! A full card on New Years Eve followed by another full fixture list just a couple of days later. Anyway on to this Saturday’s banker. The Premier League contains our first 2 selections while the last 2 come from the lower divisions.

Manchester United to beat Blackburn simply must be the first selection.

The Red Devils are back where they should be, with only goal difference keeping them from the top of the league. While City may be wobbling a bit, you can be assured that Sir Alex will have his team 100% ready for the task in hand.

United have won their last 5 straight games, and conceded just 2 goals in the process.

Blackburn just won’t be able to compete with them. They managed a draw at Anfield on Boxing Day purely because Liverpool squandered many chances. United won’t let them off the hook here.

Arsenal should dispose of QPR easily enough.

The Gunners were shocked on Tuesday by Wolves, who managed to get a point from them at The Emirates. There should be no shocks this time against QPR.

The Hoops try to play a bit of football, but should be picked off by an Arsenal side that have much more quality.

Sheffield United look a great bet to beat Hartlepool.

The Blades are in superb from and have collected 15 point in their last 5 games and conceded just 1 goal.

Their opponents Hartlepool are sitting in 12th position, and have been really struggling recently. With 4 losses and just 2 goals scored in their last 5 games, they look no match for Sheffield United, whose form has pushed them up to 2nd place in League 1.

Our final tip is Colchester to thump Exeter.

Colchester have found some form and have reignited their play-off hopes. A 4-1 home win over Bury and then a 1-0 win at Hartlepool looked great until their 6-1 home loss to Stevenage on Boxing Day.

Exeter have been terrible recently, and are now just 2 points clear of relegation territory. Colchester just had an off day last time out, and should more than make up for it this time against Exeter, who are leaking goals from all angles at present.
