Premier League Darts 2016 Live: Week 15 Preview & Betting
Thursday 12th May. 7PM. Sky Sports 1
There’s just one night to go before the 2016 Premier League reaches its final night at London’s O2 Arena, and it should be a fascinating evening of intense entertainment at Rotterdam’ s Ahoy arena.
Tickets for the league’s first event on Dutch soil sold out almost immediately, and the Rotterdam crowd will be sure to provide an electric atmosphere as they cheer on Michael van Gerwin, Raymond van Barneveld and the other six remaining players.
It will be a memorable night.

Wright Or Lewis To Progress?
Heading into week 15, most subplots have been tied up. However, there’s still one place up for grabs as Peter Wright and Adrian Lewis battle it out to see who will join the top three players next Thursday night.
After keeping his hopes alive with a dominant display against James Wade last week, Snakebite will be eager to beat Barney to pile the pressure on Lewis. However, the Scottish star will have to battle the crowd too.
Even if Wright does win, he’ll only go through if compatriot Gary Anderson has done him favour. The defending champion takes on Jackpot and will be hoping to enter next week’s final in good form. However, the Flying Scotsman has far less incentive to win than Lewis, and that could make a difference.
It’s advantage Lewis, just. It’s going right down to the wire, and it should be a classic.
MVG To Cement Place At Top?
Darts has seen a shift in recent times, with MVG comfortable ranked as the world’s best. Mighty Mike still hasn’t dethroned Phil Taylor at the summit just yet, but he could go a long way to doing so by beating his rival on Dutch soil.
Alongside Anderson, the pair are both safely through to finals night. The winner of this clash will finish top of the regular standings, which could provide a momentum boost ahead of next week’s trip to London. The young gun slinger will be desperate to prove his worth once more.
The fact that their previous draw felt like a win for Taylor says it all, but the Power is still very much a player in the hunt for honours. If both men bring their A games to Rotterdam, we could be in for a barnburner.
Before all that, though, Robert Thornton will hope to end his dismal tournament with a win over Wade. Points won’t matter in that one, but it’ll still be an intriguing battle.
Premier League Darts: Week 15 Betting
From a betting perspective, it’s hard to get overly involved with the night’s first game due to a lack of importance. The other three games should provide plenty of drama, though, and we’re hoping to capitalise with some winning selections.
In the big match between Taylor and MVG, home advantage could give the Dutchman a massive lift. This will be the first time he takes to the Premier League oche on home turf, and he’ll be desperate to reward the 8,000 supporters. We think he will.
Unfortunately, we can’t see Barney having quite the same level of joy, especially if Wright has a place at the O2 to play for. Of course, that could be done and dusted if Lewis wins earlier in the night. Even so, we’d fancy Snakebite to put in a performance.
After two nights of hitting 180s for fun, we’re backing the Scotsman to do it again.
MVG to beat Phil Taylor @ 4/6 with William Hill
Peter Wright most 180s @ 10/11 with Coral
