Mikey’s Friday Night Baseball Tip 14th July: Red Hot White Sox Can Beat Handicap

Absolutely gutted about last night’s matchup. We got some great pitching but the batters just couldn’t put anything on the board. Justin Masterson pitched a great game for the Tribe and the Jays just couldn’t get anything in the middle of the bat.

So unfortunately for us who took the odds on the Jays, we had a run for our money but just didn’t get the result so we move on to Saturday night’s action.

So to tonight’s games. I’m concentrating on one game again which is the game between the Chicago White Sox and the Kansas City Royals which starts at 12.10am BST.

The White Sox are absolute run machines at the minute scoring 9 again last night against the Royals, and with that added to the fact they have Jake Peavy on the mound this should be a good night for the Sox.

Peavy has been great this year. He is tied 1st in the American league with 14 quality starts and a brilliant era of 2.85. The White Sox bats are white hot at the minute with the likes of Adam Dunn, Alex Rios and Paul Konerko absolutely pounding the ball to all parts.

I’m looking for the Sox to win and win big tonight so I’m backing the Sox to beat the Royals at best price 4/5 with Ladbrokes which in my opinion is huge.

Also I will be backing them to win with a -1.5 handicap at best price 27/20 with Ladbrokes. Again both are superb value for a team as hot as the White Sox.

So let’s hope for better luck at the plate tonight and good luck to everyone who has a go.
