Lower League UK Football Tips Sat 27th October – Goals Likely At Tranmere

We welcome back Matt Litherland again this weekend with his fantastic lower league tips that have seen a great deal of success already. The Port Vale fan takes his punting seriously, and has put in plenty of research to find some of the best bets this Saturday in the UK lower leagues.

Here are Matt’s football tips for Saturday:

Tranmere vs Preston
A bit of a change in this bet from the usual Win-Draw-Win market but it looks nailed on to me.

3 of Tranmere’s last 5 home games have had over 2.5 goals and their last 3 consecutive matches have seen an average of 4.0 goals per game. Preston on the other hand have had 6 consecutive away days with over 2.5 goals and have had an average of 4.33 goals per game.

These are both free scoring teams and goals is a certainty.

BET: Over 2.5 goals – 7/9 Betfair (4/6 generally)

Torquay vs Morecambe

Torquay are yet to taste defeat at home this season with 4 wins and 3 draws during the campaign so far. This includes 3 wins from their last 3 and a win over top of the league Gillingham in their last outing.

After an impressive 2 wins in their firs 2 away games, Morecambe’s away form has slipped considerably, picking up 4 points from their last 5 away games.

With Torquay’s top scorer Rene Howe set to start, I see nothing but a home win in this one.

Brentford vs Hartlepool

Since losing their first home game of the season to Yeovil, Brentford have picked up 6 wins from their subsequent 7 home games and are undefeated at home excluding this first game. In the process they have conceded only 3 goals at home, scoring 12.

Hartlepool on the other hand have had one of their worst starts to a season in recent memory. A loss to bottom of the table Bury in the week means they now sit bottom of the league with only 7 points from 14 games.

Their away form is part of the reason for this as only 1 of the 7 points they have accumulated has been achieved away from home. They’ve scored 4 away goals in their 8 away games so far this season and conceded a massive 21 goals in 8 games.
