A potentially difficult trip to Russia awaits in the Champions League on Wednesday. For now, though, an easy home win over Granada will be the aim. It would take a brave man to bet against it.

Granada To Cause An Upset?

Granda’s early season fortunes could not be a greater contrast from Atletico’s, as the visitors sit rock bottom and are still searching their first win.

Furthermore, goals have been the away side’s strong point while their problems have largely stemmed from the back. Lucas Alvarez’s men have scored four in just three games on the road. Sadly, they’ve also shipped 10.

The Nazaries have also lost their last five trips to the Calderon, failing to score in the process. When added to their current fortunes, it all looks pretty bleak – especially as even a shock win wouldn’t lift them out of the drop zone.

On the other hand, the visitors have nothing to lose, which could make them a little more dangerous. Nonetheless, an away day victory looks unlikely to say the least.
