I’m A Celebrity 2013 Betting – Joey Essex Favourite To Win Jungle Crown

You know it’s not long until Christmas when the UK’s best loved Geordies pop their heads up on the other side of the world to bring us a feast of entertainment for a couple of weeks. I’m a Celebrity is back!

Ant and Dec return to Australia along with a batch of “celebrities” that will try and cope with jungle life and in some instances try and re-ignite an ailing career.

So who is in it, and more importantly who’s going to win it? Let’s take a little look.

JOEY ESSEX RED HOT FAVOURITE

Looking at the line up for the very first time it was pretty damn obvious who the bookies favourite would be to emerge victorious. It could only be Joey Essex. Although nowhere near the A- list, Mr Essex has become a favourite on his “reality” show TOWIE.

Intelligence is not particularly his forte but you know 100% that he will be a positive character in the jungle when people begin to flag. The cheeky chappie will make the camp laugh, give his all in the challenges, and be a generally fun guy to be around.

He’s current, he’s a hit with the age group that like to vote, and he’s likeable. But more than that, he’s not actually up against anyone of any note. Who exactly are Amy Willerton and David Emanuel?

Well after a little research I found out that Amy Willerton is a former Miss Uk. Good news for Joey, who stated in an interview “A bit of eye candy would be nice so hopefully there will be a beautiful girl”. Things could well heat up!

THE BETTING

I can only imagine! Last years winner Ashley Roberts of the Pussycat Dolls ate a camels penis. We’ve also seen kangaroo’s testicles, witchety grubs and badgers anuses, and the general feeling is that they like to push things a little further year by year. Maybe a live human scrotum this time?? Possibly if Joey Essex has any say in it!

WHAT THEY’VE BEEN SAYING

Amy Willerton when asked why she’s taking part, She would “absolutely love” a career in television, believing she is “at the right age” with “the world is an oyster for me right now”. Hmmmmmm. Good luck.

Matthew Wright – “A mate of mine is an amateur arachnologist and he has given me a link to an animated film that is apparently very good at helping people with their fear of spiders – I am going to give that a go.” ZZzzzzzzz bore off.
