Goals Galore Tips Tuesday 9th Oct – Get On the Non League Goal Rush!
Domestic club football makes way for internationals this weekend, but before then we have a host of Johnstone’s Paint Trophy games, which are good for goals, as well as the Blue Sq Conference, which has been absolutely fantastic for both teams to score so far this season.
By combining the two today we are hoping to collect by placing a nice little goals galore treble. Here are what I feel are the best games for goals tonight:

Woking v Cambridge United – 7.45pm
BTTS Odds – 8/15 Stan James
The statistics for both teams to score for this game are pretty much guaranteeing that both teams will get the ball in the net at least once.
Woking’s 1-0 away loss to Telford at the weekend was only the second game this season for them in which both teams didn’t score, and this was largely due to Woking being reduced to 10 men very early in the game.
Opponents Cambridge United have played 13 league games to date, and an amazing 12 of them has seen them score and concede. The stats really do all point to both teams scoring here, and I would be totally shocked if that wasn’t the case. It’s my strongest selection of tonight by a big margin.
Gateshead v Macclesfield Town – 7.45pm
BTTS Odds – 8/15 Stan James
Gateshead’s fantastic start to the season has long been forgotten, and along the same lines as Swansea in the Premier League, they just can’t buy a win at present.
Whether they can get the 3 points tonight is also open to question, but with the visit from Macclesfield I’m pretty certain goals will follow.
Since being relegated from League 2 last season, Macclesfield are adjusting to life in the conference, and have had mixed fortunes. However their ability to score goals is blatantly obvious, and so is their rate of conceding.
Gateshead will see this game as an opportunity to regain some form, and goals really shouldn’t be a problem; Macclesfield have shipped 15 in their last 5 away games, scoring 11 in the process.
Walsall v Port Vale – 7.45pm
BTTS Odds – 4/6 Stan James
League 1 versus League 2 here, but I really fancy Port Vale to make a game of it. Starting the season in great style, Port Vale are currently 2nd in League 2, and boast an impressive run of 5 consecutive away wins; worth even more attention is the fact that they beat 3rd placed Fleetwood Town 5-2 and 4th placed Exeter 2-0.
Vale are clearly in good heart, and while tonight’s opponents are playing in the division above them, Walsall’s last 6 games have all been positive both teams to score results, solidifying my view that this is a great bet.
A £10 treble on the above selections pays £39.90 at Stan James
