Football Accumulator Betting Tips Saturday 2nd May – Hammers To End Woeful Run
It’s the final weekend of Football League action and, as a fascinating 2014/15 season comes to its end, we’re looking to celebrate with this 21/5 treble at BetVictor.
We’re backing two in-form Football League teams to end the regular season on a high, whilst we’re also backing West Ham to experience some rare joy in the Premier League.
Good luck.
West Ham United V Burnley
[quote_right]Pick up a £25 free bet when you sign up to BetVictor today![/quote_right]Sam Allardyce’s men have slumped from the Champions League spots to the bottom half following an awful run of results since the season’s midway stage. However, the Hammers could leave Upton Park happy once more with three points against Burnley.West Ham have been poor, but not in comparison to the visitors. The Clarets have failed to score in seven of their last eight Premier League fixtures, leaving Sean Dyche’s men needing a minor miracle to escape the bottom three. Sadly for them, it’s unlikely to come in the capital.
The Hammers might be struggling for form but they’ve only failed to find the target three times at the Boleyn this term and should have no trouble penetrating the Burnley defence, even if a couple of key players are still sidelined through injury. Judging by recent matches for the visitors, even one goal could be enough to see the hosts secure the win.
Relegation looks nailed on for Burnley, this could be another step towards their Championship return.

Derby County V Reading (12:15)
A healthy goal difference means that Steve McClaren’s Rams need just a draw to cement their place in this season’s play-offs. However, Derby will be determined to end the regular season with a win to keep the momentum going as they bid for promotion.
Unlike Reading, who have lost five straight competitive matches, County enter the clash on the back of a six-game unbeaten streak. The rampant Rams have additionally netted 11 goals in their past three matches alone and that firepower could provide the difference in this end of season showdown.
Derby’s form at the iPro has been impressive all year. The Rams have suffered just three home defeats all term, scoring 48 in 22 matches so far whilst conceding just 18. Conversely, Steve Clarke’s Royals boast just four away wins and have leaked 41 on the road.
McClaren’s men registered a comfortable 3-0 win at the Madejski back in October; we can’t see anything other than another Derby triumph.

Tranmere Rovers V Bury
A damaging defeat to promotion rivals Southend United just under a fortnight ago has left David Flitcroft’s Shakers looking likely to enter the play-offs. However, Bury could still sneak into the top three if results go their way – starting with their own trip to rock-bottom Tranmere.
Bury are’t just a much better side than the hosts, they also possess the sole incentive to claim the points as Rovers are already relegated. It has been a truly dismal campaign for the Football League’s bottom club and a run of five straight defeats has confirmed their relegation with a game to spare. Their future is in doubt and it’s difficult to see them putting in a strong performance in this final contest.
Worryingly, Tranmere haven’t even scored for five matches and even the confidence from October’s 2-1 win at Gigg Lane is unlikely to inspire the hosts, particularly against an away side that has won seven straight matches on the road whilst keeping shutouts in each of the last six.
Strange things happen on the final day but everything about this game points towards an away win, which is exactly where our money is going.
