Football Accumulator Betting Tips – Saturday 26th April
With only two games remaining in the Football League season, teams at both ends of the table will be fighting frantically for a positive end to the season.
For half of those sides, this weekend’s action will be the final act of their home season. We think these three teams will bring the curtain down in style.
Coventry City V Wolverhampton Wanderers
Wolverhampton Wanderers have already confirmed their league title and promotion back to the Championship, but that shouldn’t prevent them from beating sorry Coventry.
Kenny Jackett’s men have stormed League One this term and are now just one point short of reaching the 100-point milestone. After winning four games on the spin, that shouldn’t be too hard against the struggling Sky Blues.
Homeless Coventry are on dismal run of just nine points from an available 33, which has seen them drop down to 17th in the standings. The goals appear to have dried up for Steven Pressley’s men, whilst they are still conceding at a rate of well over 1.5 goals per game.
Wolves may suffer from a slight lack of motivation, but Jackett will ensure that his side keep up their hard work until the last ball is kicked.
This is Wolves last away fixture of the season, and also a derby. They should pass this test with flying colours.

Shrewsbury Town V Peterborough United
On Easter Monday, rock-bottom Stevenage had relegation confirmed; on Saturday it could be the turn of Shrewsbury to suffer that fate.
Shrewsbury must win each of their two remaining games to stand any chance of survival, and even then it’s highly improbable. Meanwhile, victory for Posh would confirm their attendance in this year’s League One play-offs.
Peterborough are in good form too, winning four of six league matches since lifting the Johnstones Paint Trophy at the end of March. Admittedly, Posh have lost three on the spin away from London Road – but that shouldn’t prevent them from claiming the spoils here.
Shrewsbury are the league’s lowest scoring team, registering less than a goal a game. That statistic alone pinpoints exactly where it has gone wrong – Michael Jackson’s men have been bad.
The visitors are prolific scorers and, in Britt Assombalonga, boast the division’s second best striker. The gulf in quality should prevail. It will be play-off security for Peterborough, and relegation for the Shrews.

Mansfield Town V Torquay United
Torquay United have already had their relegation out of the Football League confirmed and are set for another tough afternoon at Mansfield.
The Stags, who only gained promotion from the Conference last season, have surpassed expectations and are set for a top-half finish.
Torquay’s away form is actually OK and their main problems have lied at Plainmoor. However, spirits will be crushed following relegation and it could prove difficult for Chris Hargreaves to motivate his Gulls for this contest.
As for the hosts, they’ll be determined to end their home season on a high with three points here. Monday’s loss to Cheltenham was their first defeat in eight outings, they should return to winning ways at the One Call stadium here.
