Europa League Semi-Final Second Leg Previews – Dnipro V Napoli & Fiorentina V Sevilla Live
It’s crunch time in the Europa League semi-finals as four teams fight for a spot in this year’s May 27th final in Poland.
Whilst the outcome of one semi looks settled, it’s all to play for in the other and we’re expecting another night of fantastic European action.
Game on!
Dnipro V Napoli. 8:05PM. ITV 4
A late Yevhen Seleznyov equaliser in Naples have left this tie firmly in the balance as Dnipro welcome Napoli to the Ukraine for this pivotal return leg.
Rafa Benitez would have wanted more from his side last week and their failure to see the game out has left them with a difficult task in Dnipropetrovsk. The Serie A side are still slight favourites to qualify and do have the quality to make amends, but there is no doubt that Myron Markevych’s hosts will push them all the way.
The home side have built their succes on an impressive record at the Dnipro Arena and know they’ve got a great chance of progressing. They’ve kept four consecutive home shutouts in this competition, which would be enough to see them advance to Warsaw on away goals.
It should be a gripping finale to this intriguing semi-final showdown.
Dnipro V Napoli Betting Tips
Napoli’s need for a win sees the bookmakers price them as the 10/11 (Bet365) favourites to win this second leg but Dnipro shouldn’t be ruled out at odds of 3/1. The draw is available at 5/2.
This is a truly fascinating battle and the first goal could be absolutely crucial to deciding which way it will swing. Two goals for Napoli would swing the away goal rule in their favour but they must first focus solely on scoring that first goal.
In spite of Dnipro’s strong defensive record, the Italians shouldn’t have too much trouble finding the net and, with their need for goals in mind, we’re backing them to break the deadlock before the interval.

Fiorentina V Sevilla. 8:05PM
Holders Sevilla raced into a 3-0 win during last week’s first leg in Spain and Unai Emery’s men are now near certainties to reach a second successive final as they bid to win a fourth Europa League title in 10 years. However, they must remain focused as they travel to Italy.

Another source of optimism will be the fact they scored three goals in each of the games sandwiching last Thursday’s defeat.
Sadly, though, the hosts simply cannot afford to concede and unfortunately they enter this clash without keeping a single clean sheet since beating Dynamo Kiev in the previous round of this competition. With Sevilla boasting the talents of Carlos Bacca, Jose Antonio Reyes and Kevin Gameiro, Fiorentina certainly have their work cut out.
Sevilla hold all the aces in this tie and we fully expect them to complete the job in Florence.
Fiorentina V Sevilla Betting Tips
Despite losing 3-0 in Spain, Fiorentina are the slight favourites with Bet365 pricing the Italians at 5/4. Meanwhile, Sevilla can be backed at 21/10 and the draw is available at 12/5.
With the tie seemingly over, it is quite hard to predict exactly what will happen. However, we’d like to think there is a good chance of goals at both ends.
An away goal for Sevilla would essentially end any thoughts of a Fiorentina fightback. Nevertheless, Montella will demand a better second leg showing from his side, particularly in front of their own supporters. We’re backing both teams to score.
