Europa League Both Teams To Score Tips Thursday 7th November
Europa League Goals Galore Coupon – 7th November
It’s an incredibly significant night in the Europa League and for many teams Thursday’s result will go a long way to determining their fate. Almost every team has something to play for and hopefully will be in for some great action and a hatful of goals.
Here are my selections on the BTTS coupon:
PAOK V MACCABI HAIFA
When these two met in Israel a fortnight ago it ended 3-2 and it could be another high scoring game in Greece.
In this competition, both teams are scoring and conceding at a rate over once a game. PAOK have scored six times in three games but their defence has leaked four goals also. Haifa are the complete opposite, scoring four and conceding six.
Maccabi are fighting for Europa League survival and need to win if they are going to remain in the competition. In contrast, a win for PAOK should confirm their progression to the knockout stage. Hopefully this will add up to another high scoring game in Group L.
GUIMARAES V REAL BETIS
A fortnight ago, Real Betis won 1-0 in Spain but in the reverse fixture Guimaraes will fancy their chances of getting something from the game.
The Braga based side have not played a home fixture in a month but have scored at least one in all but one of their last six matches at the Estádio Henriques, including four in the Europa League encounter with Rijeka.
As for Betis, they know victory would all but seal their place in the next stage of the competition. Whoever wins this encounter will be favourites to qualify with Lyon and therefore the reward of victory is much more than a simple three points.
I think this one might be tight at times, but there should be chances at both ends. Hopefully the forwards will have their striking boots on.
ESTORIL V FREIBURG
For the two bottom teams in Group H, Thursday’s match offers a final lifeline in their respective bids to reach the knockout stage. Simply put, this is a must win encounter and hopefully it will result in an end-to-end thriller.
Whilst both the Portuguese and German sides have struggled for points and neither has yet to register a win in the competition. However, each have scored three in three and coincidentally both have conceded five.
For Estoril, all three games have ended with BTTS coming in. Meanwhile, only a blank at Sevilla prevents Freiburg from boasting the same record and both teams will be confident of scoring.
They played out a 1-1 draw in Germany and a repeat performance would be fantastic.
A £10 treble with Ladbrokes pays £58.06.
