Dutch Over 2.5 Goals Tips 20th April – Seeking Back To Back Juliper League Treble

After getting last weeks over 2.5 goals treble up I’ve been eagerly awaiting this Friday’s Dutch Juliper League fix, and hopefully another successful treble. It’s true that the goals are beginning to dry up as the end of the season approaches. What was a huge 67% of games containing over 2.5 goals is now 63%, but it still remains the highest scoring league in Europe, and there are some inviting looking fixtures this Friday.

FC Dordrecht v FC Oss 7.00pm Over 2.5 goals – Odds 4/11

This match is screaming out to be added to tonight’s treble. Both teams have an over 2.5 goals success rate of over 80% this season, a quite unbelievable statistic.

Dordrecht are sitting comfortably in mid table on 46 points, they have no pressure of relegation or promotion battles, and the goals have really been flowing recently in their games. In fact 15 goals have been scored in Dordrecht’s last 3 matches.

FC Oss are in 14th position on 35 points but cannot be relegated, mainly due to Emmen’s poor season which has also seen them have 6 points deducted.

Oss have won just 1 of their last 8 games, 6 of which have contained at least 3 goals.

The reverse fixture played back in November was an epic 3-3 draw, and it seems highly likely that we will see plenty more goalmouth action tonight.

Veendam v Helmond Sport 7.00pm Over 2.5 goals – Odds 4/7

Veendam should be safe from the drop, but will want to secure a couple more points before they take their foot off the gas.

Positioned 3 off the bottom of the table and without a win in 7 games, Veendam will have a tough job tonight against 4th placed Helmond Sport.

Helmond have been flying in recent weeks, their 8 game winning streak only halted with a 1-3 home loss to Cambuur last Friday. Winning the league is impossible, but Helmond are still in contention for runners up spot, which should make for an entertaining match.

Both teams have an identical over 2.5 goal success rate of 68% this season, and the 3-2 Helmond Sport win in the reverse fixture earlier in the season is a very encouraging pointer towards tonight’s game.

Go Ahead Eagles v FC Emmen Over 2.5 goals – Odds 1/3

Emmen are virtually doomed to relegation if they don’t win this game, and will be pulling out all the stops in order to do so. With just 16 points from 32 matches (including a 6 point deduction) Emmen face an in form Go Ahead Eagles side that have won their last 3 games and scoring 8 goals in the process.

Go Ahead are safely tucked up in mid table obscurity, the pressure is off, and they will be looking to entertain their fans. With Emmen fighting for their very survival in the Juliper League, I expect this to be a goals packed thriller.

Emmen recorded a rare victory this season when beating tonight’s opponents 3-2 in the reverse fixture back in November, making it a revenge mission for the home side. Over 2.5 goals looks a great bet here.
