Dutch Jupiler League BTTS Friday 30th Nov: Expect Goals In Top Of Table Clash

It’s that time of the week again guys. Bank building day. Last Friday gave us the perfect start to the weekend when our Dutch money maker treble came good, and I’m hoping for exactly the same again this Friday night.

A quick update.. 63.5% of these games contain over 2.5 goals, and the average Jupiler League match has an average of 3.2 goals.

Helmond Sport v MVV Maastricht 7.00pm

This is the stand out game for both teams to score this week. Helmond are once again firing on all cylinders after their slouch period, and today they come up against another team that are firing in goals all over the place.

Helmond score an average of 1.77 goals when playing at home, and have scored 7 in their last 3 matches. Opponents MVV trump that though.. They are scoring an average 2.57 goals when they’re on the road, which should make for an entertaining game with plenty of goalmouth action.

If head to heads are anything to go by, we are on to a winner. Both teams have scored in 7 of the last 8 meetings.

Almere City v Excelsior 7.00pm

What a surprise, Almere City pop up again in my BTTS tips! This team are turning things around. They’re on a run now of 4 straight victories, a far cry from their dire form of old. Their ability to score even though hopelessly outclassed in the earlier stages of the season have made these a firm favourite of mine.

Excelsior have been absolutely terrible this season after relegation from the top flight last term, and they sit rock bottom of the table with just 10 points after 14 games. However, they have scored in 7 of their last 8 games, and Almere’s defence has plenty of holes in it.

Fortuna Sittard v Eindhoven 7.00pm

Fortuna sit in 6th place in the league and have scored at least 1 goal in every home game they’ve played this season, with 75% of all their games containing over 2.5 goals.

Opponents Eindhoven have conceded at least 1 goal in 100% of their away games, which more or less guarantees that Fortuna will hit the back of the net.

Eindhoven aren’t exactly prolific in front of goal, but I’ve got a strong fancy that they’ll bag one here.
