Dutch Goal Fest Tips Friday 5th October: Excelsior Can Trouble Pace Setters Helmond

Who’s got that Friday feeling? It’s a big day here today as the weekend is just around the corner, and yet again we have the perpetual betting bank builder that is  the Dutch Juliper League. We keep banging on about it, but fans of both teams to score and over 2.5 goals bets should really be looking at this league long and hard!

Without any more fuss, here are Friday’s tips, which this week is a mixture of both teams to score and over 2.5 goals:

Volendam v Veendam 7.00pm

This game looks simply amazing for over 2.5 goals and both teams to score, but I had to make a decision. Neither team has failed to score in any of their respective home and away games so far, and neither has kept a clean sheet either!

To add to that, all home games played by Volendam have contained 3 or more goals, and the same can be said of Veendam when on their travels.

Volendam are performing much the better and accumulating the points, while Veendam have been on the end of more defeats.

Excelsior v Helmond Sport 7.00pm
Bet: both teams to score – 1/2 Stan James

Excelsior haven’t exactly taken the league by storm since being relegated from the top flight last season, and today they face top of the table Helmond Sport. However, the visitors appear to be just slowing down a little bit since their emphatic start, and 2 successive losses (1 in the cup) have maybe opened things up a little bit.

Excelsior are unbeaten in their 3 home starts so far, yet Helmond have already scored 11 away goals in 3 games. This game looks perfect for BTTS.

Eindhoven v Oss 7.00pm
Bet: both teams to score – 4/7 Stan James

An early season bottom of the table clash between two teams that really get amongst the goals. With just 4 and 7 points respectively after 7 games played, it’s safe to say that these two may struggle this term, which makes this match a must win.

That said, it is pretty hard to separate them in terms of a result, but goals look well and truly on the menu. These teams struggle for points but score plenty of goals between them, so I’m very confident BTTS is the answer here.
