David Beckham – A Hero On And Off The Pitch According To Readers

Here at TVbet.co.uk we love our sporting role models – and they don’t come much bigger or better than David Beckham.

Not only is the footballing ace a hero on the pitch he’s also widely admired as one of the most stylish men in the world.

But today we applaud Becks not for his sporting prowess or his sartorial elegance but for his skills as a parent.

David Beckham has been named as the celebrity dad we British guys most admire in a fun new survey conducted right here at TVbet.co.uk.

We asked 412 guys to name the celebrity dads they most looked up to and Mr Beckham was a clear winner with almost a quarter of the votes.

Prince William came second in the poll – despite not even being a dad yet! Clearly our voters feel he will do a great job when his wife Kate gives birth in July.

Somewhat of a surprise to us here was Peter Andre creeping in with 11% of the vote. The Mysterious Girl singer has been out of the public eye for a while, and though his parenting skills have never been in doubt, we thought sports fans would be a little hesitant to vote for the Australian ‘hunk’.

Yes, you read correctly. Wayne Rooney got 10% of the vote. The Manchester United striker, known for his love of all things mature, shocked us when the results were counted.
