With six equally fascinating matches taking place across the continent, it should be another dramatic night in Europe’s elite competition.

Manchester United V Wolfsburg. 7:45PM. BT Sport Europe
Louis van Gaal’s men are in in buoyant mood after shooting their way to the Premier League summit with this weekend’s win over Sunderland. However, the Red Devils cannot afford to rest on their laurels after losing their Group B opener in Eindhoven two weeks ago. Now is definitely the time to get free bets for the next Man Utd match!
Despite that disappointment, the Old Trafford giants will still fancy their chances of reaching the last 16. With skipper Wayne Rooney back amongst the goals, as well as new boys Memphis Depay and Anthony Martial, the hosts will be expected to cause some real damage in the final third – especially after scoring three goals in each of their past three encounters at Old Trafford.
Nevertheless, the Bundesliga visitors will be optimistic about registering a positive result. Dieter Hecking’s men claimed a 1-0 home win over CSKA Moscow a fortnight ago, and will be looking to strikers Bas Dost and Nicklas Bendtner for inspiration.
With Andre Schurrle, Julian Draxler and Luis Gustavo in midfield also, this will be a huge test for the Red Devils. Let’s hope they pass it with flying colours.
Manchester United V Wolfsburg Betting
It’s not an easy fixture by any means, but Manchester United will be fancied to make home advantage count. They enter the clash as ¾ favourites at bookmaker Bet365 while the visitors are priced 4/1. The draw can be backed at 29/10.
The in-form hosts are favourites for a reason and their attacking prowess should be enough to see them through, especially against a defence that conceded five in the space on nine minutes to Bayern Munich just over a week ago.
However, question marks still remain over Manchester United’s defence. If the Germans play on the front foot, they should find the target. We’re just not sure it will be enough to secure them any points.

Borussia Monchengladbach V Manchester City. 7:45PM. BT Sport 2
After suffering a hugely disappointing 2-1 home defeat to Juventus on matchday one, Manuel Pellegrini’s men head to Borussia Park knowing that they cannot afford to lose. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what they’ve done in each of their past three matches.
It has been an extremely difficult fortnight for the Citizens, and it seems evident that they will rely heavily on the quality of Sergio Aguero this term. Meanwhile, the absences of Vincent Kompany and Yaya Toure could have a telling impact. On a brighter note, the Premier League side will be pleased with the early form of summer additions Kevin de Bruyne and Raheem Sterling.
This won’t be an easy fixture for the visitors, though, especially as Monchengladbach enter the clash on the back of two consecutive triumphs. However, the pressure will be on Andre Schubert’s men following their 3-0 loss to Sevilla two weeks ago.
It’s a huge match for both sides. Let’s just hope it lives up to expectations.
Borussia Monchengladbach V Manchester City Betting
Despite their recent poor form, Pellegrini’s men head to Germany as the 10/11 favourites with Bet365. However, at odds of 10/3, the home side shouldn’t be ruled out. Meanwhile, the draw can be backed at 11/4.
Goals have been a common theme in Monchengladbach’s matches and we’re expecting the hosts to pinpoint City’s weakened spine. Meanwhile, the Citizens will be eager to punish a defence that shipped three in Spain and hasn’t kept a clean sheet in 10 competitive matches this season.
It should be a recipe for goals, and that’s exactly what we’re backing.
