Wimbledon Tennis Tips: Don’t Underestimate Youzhny

Wimbledon 2013It’s the start of week two of Wimbledon and today we kick off with some tips from The Tennis Researchers.

Mikhail Youzhny v Andy Murray – 2.30pm

This first bet we’ve been looking forward to since Saturday when it was known they would play each other. As expected bookies are underestimating Youzhny here because of the Murray factor and everyone seems to think he’s already in the final. Despite Murray being 1/20 to win I wouldn’t be surprised to see Youzhny upset him, but I’m more than happy with a 7.5 handicap. A 6-4 6-4 6-3 Murray win would mean this bet would be a winner.

Confederations Cup 20th June – Spain Set To Massacre Tahiti – Nigeria To Meet Their Match

However we look forward to Thursday’s games, and in particular the complete mismatch that is Spain vs Tahiti. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this game if you want to see hatfuls of goals. It has potential to be one of the highest scoring games ever broadcast live.

The other game for Thursday is between Nigeria and and Uruguay. Nigeria disposed of Tahiti 6-1 in their opening game, although the Nigerian team left a lot to be desired when it came to the team ethic. Here are my thoughts on both games…
