BTTS Tips 15th September: Goals Galore With A European Twist
This weekend I’ve decided to mix it up a little and expand my both teams to score selections further afield into Europe after stumbling across some great statistics that fill me with confidence. Relying on both teams to find the net can be a bit of a minefield this early in the season, but with more games comes more choice, and here are my tips for this weekend based on my research.
Bet on BTTS at Bet365– A £200 free bet awaits!
Norwich v West Ham 12.45pm Best odds -8/11 Sky Bet
The Canaries face their fourth successive London club here, and I fancy that they can build on their 1-1 draw with Tottenham at White Hart Lane last time out – where Norwich had numerous opportunities to take all 3 points.
West Ham have started brightly, excluding a 3-0 loss to rampant Swansea, and did well to punish Fulham 3-0 in their last game.
Norwich were well known for their goals last season, and these teams look fairly evenly matched on paper. I’m predicting a 2-2 draw which would be a perfect both teams to score outcome!
Hannover v Werder Bremen 2.30pm Best odds – 8/13 Bet365
This fixture has a rich history of goals, and I’m taking the view that today’s game will be exactly the same.
Hannover themselves have scored an amazing 22 goals in their last 5 games in all competitions, conceding 7. Bremen haven’t been quite as prolific but have failed to score in just 2 of their last 15 games.
Both teams have scored on the last 7 occasions these teams have met in Hannover, and recent scoring form suggests that goals are well and truly on the menu. There have been 21 goals in their 5 most recent clashes, and that is more than enough for me to be putting my money down.
Greuther Furth v Schalke 5.30pm Best Odds – 8/11 Blue Sq
Newly promoted Greuther welcome Schalke for the first time, and this game has goals written all over it.
Furth won 14 of their 17 home games on their way to the 1 Liga title last term, but have understandably found life tougher at the highest level so far. An opening day 3-0 home defeat to Bayern Munich was followed up with a hard fought 1-0 victory at Mainz latest.
It’s Schalke that make this game so appealing for the both teams to score bet. They’ve scored and conceded in all of their last 7 Bundesliga away games, and have kept just 2 clean sheets in their last 20 games on the road!
