Both Teams To Score Tips Saturday 18th April – Back Our Football League Treble
With less than five games to play, the palpable excitement surrounding this weekend’s Football League action is absolutely intense. Every club will be eager to end the season well, particularly those competing for promotion or survival, and we’re expecting an explosive afternoon of action up and down the country.
We’re looking to capitalise on that electricity with this 4/1 treble. Let’s hope all six teams will give their fans, and us punters, something to cheer!
Or you could always add an extra two selections to qualify for BetVictor’s Back of the Net acca insurance.
Blackpool V Fulham

A £25 free bet too![/quote_right]The Championship’s two worst defences collide at Bloomfield Road this weekend and we’re expecting the goals to keep flowing as Blackpool entertain Fulham.Between them, the two Championship strugglers have leaked a colossal 162 goals and whilst the attacking tallies aren’t quite as promising, the two teams have also found the target regularly enough to suggest there could be goals.
Fulham have won just four times on the road but do boast 23 goals from 21 matches and Kit Symons will certainly fancy his side’s chances against the already relegated Tangerines. However, Blackpool have scored 18 of their 34 league goals at Bloomfield Road and will be equally optimistic against a defence that has shipped 41 on the road.
Each of the visitors past three games have ended in BTTS winners, whilst Blackpool’s 4-0 loss at Derby ended a four-game streak of their own. Considering they also shared a 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage, goals looks an inevitability here..

Gillingham V Rochdale
Keith Hill’s Dale suffered a damaging midweek defeat by falling 4-2 to Swindon at Spotland but the League One play-off chasers must dust themselves off and go again as they aim to put the pressure on sixth-placed Chesterfield with three points away at Gillingham.
The visitors can be confident too after hitting 36 goals on the road this season, especially after ending their mini away drought with the 1-1 draw at Doncaster in their previous away game. However, they haven’t kept a clean sheet on the road since October so might have to rely on the firepower of Ian Henderson and Peter Vincenti if they are to claim a vital three points at Priestfield.
Gillignham have improved since replacing Peter Taylor with Justin Edinburgh and the hosts are now sitting comfortably in mid-table. The Gills will be particularly pleased with their improved strike rate as they’ve now managed an impressive 60 goals in total, although a defensive record of 63 conceded is still a cause for concern.
Attack is the best form of defence for both of these League One outfits and we hope that will manifest itself into a game of goals in Kent. Back both teams to score.

Exeter City V Southend United
Our final selection comes from the League Two clash at St James’ Park as Exeter look to keep their slim play-off hopes alive against a Southend side that are themselves trying to keep their bid for automatic promotion beating.
At Roots Hall, Phil Brown’s men have been incredibly economical and boast the division’s joint best defensive record. On the road, though, the Blues have shipped 26 in 20 and could be in for another tough test against the Grecians. However, on a more positive, note they have also scored 26 during their away campaign and should be equally confident of finding the target again here.
Likewise, goals have been a common occurrence for Paul Tisdale’s men at home as the hosts have scored 28 but conceded 27 from 21 games. Overall, four of their past six outings have ended in BTTS winners and we can see that sequence being extended against Southend.
The rivals shared a 1-1 draw in Essex earlier this season, a similar outcome on Saturday wouldn’t shock anyone.
