Both Teams To Score Tips Monday 6th April – Expect An Explosive Battle At Griffin Park
Easter Monday is a crucial day in the English football calendar and we’re anticipating plenty of drama up and down the country.
There’s a number of crucial matches across the top five divisions and we’re backing these six teams to all find the net at some stage during proceedings in this 4/1 treble at SkyBet
Good luck!
Brentford V Nottingham Forest
Championship side Brentford have done remarkably well to drag themselves back into the play-off zone but Mark Warburton’s men cannot afford to rest on their laurels and must keep their run going as they take on Dougie Freedman’s Forest.
The Bees have been strong in recent weeks but the Griffin Park faithful will be worried by the lack of clean sheets. In fact Brentford’s last shutout came way back in February and each of their past six Championship matches have ended in BTTS winners.
Goals have been an equally regular occurrence for the visitors since Freedman’s appointment too. After a dozen matches under their new manager’s guidance, the Reds have hit 25 whilst also conceding 15. Taking Brentford’s quality in attack and weaknesses in defence into consideration, it seems likely that both tallies will be increased here.
Forest are in great scoring form, even if results have eluded them over the past couple of matches. However, the impetus is with the Bees and we’d expect them to find the target too.

Colchester United V Barnsley
Tony Humes’ Colchester might have left it late, but a return of seven points from the last available nine has given them a great chance of escaping the League One drop zone. The Eagles still need a few positive results but will certainly fancy their chances at home to a stumbling Barnsley.
The Tykes have enjoyed vast improvements since Lee Johnson’s arrival, but their hopes of a late play-off push have suffered a huge dent thanks to a four-game winless run. That lack of form will afford hope to the hosts, but the visitors should still pose a threat against a Colchester side that has already leaked 32 on the road.
However, the Essex side have also scored 23 from their 19 home matches and will be expected to score against an away side that has leaked 27 on the road. Whatever happens, fans can expect goals from this one.
Barnsley have been a firm favourite on this coupon this year, netting 53 and leaking 54 from their previous 40 matches. We’re backing that trend of goals to continue here.

Dover Athletic V Woking
Our final selection comes from the Vanarama Conference as Garry Hill’s Woking look to close in on a top five finish by securing a vital three points at Dover.
The Cardinals had seemingly squandered their shot at promotion but a late revival has thrust them back into the play-off zone. However, they’re currently sitting there on goal difference alone and must register a fifth win in six if they want to keep their dreams of reaching the Football League alive.
Despite their superb recent form, Woking are still conceding goals. In fact, five of their last six have ended in BTTS winners, including two 3-2s and a 2-2 draw in their past three games alone. Meanwhile, ninth-placed Dover are enjoying equally strong form and Chris Kinnear’s men will provide a stern test at the Perrys Crabble stadium.
Both camps are blessed with some of the Conference’s top attacking talent, including Stefan Payne, Guiseppe Sole and Scott Rendall. The smart money has to be on goals.
