Both Teams To Score Sat 23rd March – Peterborough Back To Old Ways
Last season Peterborough were automatically the first choice on everyone’s Goals Galore coupon, so much so that Betfred actually removed them from their lists and wouldn’t take bets on them. This season has been slightly different, with the Posh managing more clean sheets… Until now. Now is the time to welcome them back on to your coupon with open arms.
Barnsley v Peterborough 3.00pm
Peterborough have begun to find the net in a big way. They’ve also rediscovered the art of conceding plenty too, which is fantastic for Goals Galore.
With 13 goals shared amongst the teams in their last 3 games, The Posh can be considered the kings of goals galore yet again, however when you look at the fact that Barnsley have scored just once in their last 5 games you may be worried….fear not.
Barnsley are indeed struggling down in the depths of the Championship, but their last 5 games have been a challenge to say the least. Middlesbrough, Southampton and Reading in consecutive games is no teams wish and Barnsley will be pleased just to see the back of them for the season.
Peterborough will give The Tykes plenty of opportunities in front of goal and I’m fully expecting Barnsley to score here.
Chelsea v Spurs 12.45pm
A very simple choice to add to my treble. Chelsea CANNOT keep a clean sheet at present, and while Spurs are going through a lean spell, they are plenty capable enough of causing Di Matteo’s team a major headache.
Tottenham haven’t won for a long time at Stamford Bridge, but I’m not interested in that. Spurs have real firepower going forward and Chelsea just don’t inspire confidence in defence.
This is obviously a huge derby game, but I’m expecting a good few goals to go in here, and I’m predicting a 2-2 draw which will help my goals galore bet no end.
Wycombe v MK Dons 3.00pm
Wycombe Wanderers have really begun to turn their season around with 10 points gained in their last 4 games and plenty of goals to boot, and can continue their fine scoring form against promotion hopefuls MK Dons.
While I’m not expecting them to beat the Buckinghamshire outfit, Wycombe have scored 12 goals in their last 5 games, and should grab at least 1 against their opponents, who rarely keep clean sheets on their travels.
Six of MK’s last 7 away games have been good for goals galore, and it should be another on the tally here too.
This Goals Galore treble pays 3/1 with Betfred
