Once again we find Spurs fighting to secure a champions league position and Wigan fighting to beat the drop. Alot is being made of Wigans late season resolve. They always seem to do what is needed to escape late doors, but here are the stats to suggest that if history is to repeat itself it won’t be this weekend.

Spurs have won their last 3/4 away league fixtures, beating better teams in Swansea, West Ham and West Brom. After a superb 3-1 win against Man City last week the confidence in the camp is sure to be sky high, and with Defoe, Lennon and Bale all back to fitness and set to start I can only see a Tottenham win here.

Altrincham have won 11 of their last 12 fixtures at home, with only a 1-1 draw with Colwyn Bay blotting an exceptional run of form.
Droylsden have been simply awful away from home this season with a record of P 21 W 1 D 4 L 16 and the only positive results have come against teams in and around them at the foot of the table.
