Our Saturday football accumulator is an 11/2 treble that comes courtesy of selections from all…
Banker Treble Sat 27th April – Spurs Need Points At The DW
Another weekends battle is set to commence with only a few matches left in most leagues around Europe. Again we will be looking to find the best value from a massive Saturday coupon.
Last weeks treble sailed home with the minimum of fuss, securing a nice 4/1 winner, and I’m looking to continue the form with these 3 selections.
Wigan vs Tottenham
Bet: Tottenham win at 21/20 William Hill
Once again we find Spurs fighting to secure a champions league position and Wigan fighting to beat the drop. Alot is being made of Wigans late season resolve. They always seem to do what is needed to escape late doors, but here are the stats to suggest that if history is to repeat itself it won’t be this weekend.
Wigans record against top half teams this season is shocking, in the 16 matches they have played this term against the top 10 it reads W 2 D 1 L 13. The last 3 fixtures at the DW stadium between these sides, Spurs have won 2 and drawn 1. At home in their last 9 matches Wigan have only won 2 games drawing 2 and losing 5.
Spurs have won their last 3/4 away league fixtures, beating better teams in Swansea, West Ham and West Brom. After a superb 3-1 win against Man City last week the confidence in the camp is sure to be sky high, and with Defoe, Lennon and Bale all back to fitness and set to start I can only see a Tottenham win here.
Leyton Orient vs Oldham
Bet: Leyton Orient win at Evens William Hill
Orient have been in fantastic recent home form. They have won their last 5 fixtures at the Matchroom Stadium, winning 4 of those by over 1.5 goals.
They can no longer reach the play offs, but their manager has said the players want to thank the fans for this seasons support with a 6th consecutive home win.
Oldham secured their place in league 1 next season recently, but it has cost them the service of forwards Matt Smith and Lee Barnard. The last time these two players were out Oldham had no cutting edge and failed to score. They have lost 4 of their last 6 matches, drawing 1 and winning 1.
Altrincham vs Droylsden
Bet: Altrincham win at 2/7 William Hill
4th placed Altrincham welcome lowly Droylsden to Moss Lane in the conference, and surely their can only be one outcome here.
Altrincham have won 11 of their last 12 fixtures at home, with only a 1-1 draw with Colwyn Bay blotting an exceptional run of form.
Droylsden have been simply awful away from home this season with a record of P 21 W 1 D 4 L 16 and the only positive results have come against teams in and around them at the foot of the table.
This treble pays £52.27 for a £10 stake at William Hill, good luck to all that get on.
