Banker Accumulator Tip 2nd/3rd March – An Unstoppable Treble Up
The last few weeks haven’t been great- just two winners out of my last four articles but this weekend sees so many great opportunities that can’t be missed. This is my penultimate weekend before I go travelling around the world so hoping for a top up of funds!
Bet 1: Real Madrid vs Barcelona– Over 3 Goal Line
Odds – 1.925 Bet365
This game needs no introduction. The two Spanish giants lock horns yet again this Saturday night and there are always goals on the cards. Real had the last laugh earlier this week as they embarrassed Barca 3-1 on their own turf and I’m sure Barca will be looking to turn things around this weekend.
This game will have goals- there is no doubt. 10 of the last 11 games between these two sides have seen at least three goals. This season, Real average 3.17 goals per game at home and Barca 3.08 away from home.
Factoring in that Real have the dilemma of the huge Champions League game vs Man Utd next Tuesday, it is likely that Mourinho will rest his defenders and simply look to outscore Barca.
Barca haven’t looked the team they were earlier this season in recent weeks but they are simply too good to not bounce back and there is no better time to do it than in a Classico. A final stat- a massive 28 of the past 31 games at the Bernabeau have seen at least three goals- 24 of which have had at least 4 goals!! This selection is a banker.
Bet 2: Sporting CP vs Porto– Porto over 1.5 Team Goals
Odds – 1.80 Bet365
This selection is screaming huge value at me. Porto have scored at least two goals in 8/9 away games this season and average 2.22 goals away from home per game.
Whilst Sporting do have a tight defence at home- conceding less than a goal per game and only conceding 2 goals or more twice at home this season- they will not be able to contain a Porto team who are in outstanding form this campaign.
In 5 of the last 7 meetings between the two sides, Porto have netted at least twice and for me, their form alone this season is enough to back this selection. The reverse fixture earlier this season ended 2-0 Porto and I think a similar result is on the cards. They also have no midweek game as their Champions League tie isn’t for two more weeks.
Bet 3: Spurs vs Arsenal– Over 2.5 Match Goals
Odds – 1.66 Bet365
This is arguably one of the most exciting games in the EPL these days with recent games being absolute goal fests. 9 of the past 10 games between the sides has seen over 2.5 goals and the last two meetings have provided 14 goals!
With both sides in great goal scoring form in recent weeks, this trend will continue. Whilst statistically the home and away records may not support this selection over the course of the whole season, the H2H and the fact this is a derby game does.
Bale, oh sorry, I mean Spurs, have become a dominant force in recent weeks and Arsenal have a habit of leaking sloppy goals this season. (If Mertesacker starts I expect 365 to pay out early!) Equally, Arsenal have many sources of goals in their ranks (Walcott, Cazorla, Giroud and Podolski) and should be looking to continue their dominance in this fixture.
The uncertainty around this fixture is shown by no odds-on team and I would definitely not like to be picking a winner! Luckily we have the goals market.
Accumulator Tip
The treble pays a very generous 4.92/1 at Bet365 and I will be using a medium stake. I am very confident with this treble. Good luck.
