Football is coming out of our ears at the moment… Pure bliss. The next round of Goals Galore is just around the corner which in turn gives us the chance to find our next winner. We didn’t quite pull it off on Boxing Day as a few teams really disappointed, but we didn’t have to wait long for the next instalment.

Players must be praying for a bit of respite in this busy part of the season, but as the games stack up it’s the bigger squads that can cope with the demands required of them, while some of the smaller squads have to start delving into their youth set up to make up the numbers.

Paul Lambert and Aston Villa must be wondering what they did wrong in a past life to be treated so badly over the Christmas period. Just two games in to the busy festive football schedule, The Villains have shipped 12 goals without reply in what can only be described as a ‘Christmas curse’.
Following a demoralising 8-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea last weekend, It was Tottenham’s turn to try their luck; They duly obliged with a 4-0 pounding, Gareth Bale also netting a 2nd half hatrick to compound Villa’s doom.
There’s nothing like Boxing Day sporting action. If there’s one day a year I rally get excited about then it’s this one. The stresses and strains of Christmas Day are over, and now it’s all about putting your feet up, and for me anyway, Boxing Day is betting day.

Everyone loves an accumulator, and even more-so a Boxing Day special accumulator.
