Accumulator Tip Saturday 10th August – An Asian Handicap Treble

Accumulator BankerLast week we landed our 3/1 accumulator, was pretty easy. This week we’ll be getting down and dirty with the asian handicap trebles we know and love from last season.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Freiburg 1430hrs

First stop, and the first of two German ties, we go to Leverkusen. Last season Leverkusen were very impressive finishing third and only narrowly missing out on second spot. Leverkusen have had an excellent pre-season with a notable 4-0 win against Vitesse and brushed Lipstadt aside in the Pokal during the week.

German Bundesliga Betting Tips – Matchday 1 10th August – Leverkusen Can Get A Fast Start

BundesligaIt seems like forever ago I was sat watching Arjen Robben score a 90th minute goal to beat Dortmund in the Champions League final and ever since that date, I have been counting down the days to the new Bundesliga season.

A lot has happened over the summer, plenty of names coming and going from every club, the most noticeable being at Bayern Munich with the arrival of Mario Gotze and Thiago Alcantara, along with their new manager Pep Guardiola.

The other big clubs have been spending a pretty penny too, with Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund and Schalke all spending plenty. Infact them 4 clubs combined have spent over £130m of the £180m spent by Bundesliga clubs so far in this transfer window.

Every season I do a prediction of who I think will finish where, I have left my list with an explanation below, underneath my Matchday 1 preview.

Premier League Opinion 2013/14 – We Ask Female ‘Pundits’ Their Views

Barclays Premier LeagueThe opinions which really count…
It is that time of year, pre season, where experts are asked for their view on how the Premier League season is going to pan out. These predictions have a tendency to be funnily enough…predictable, and once you’ve read one of these from an ageing ex-footballer come pundit you have read them all.

In an effort to mix things up a little and get a bit of feminine contribution around these male dominant web pages, I have asked for the time of TEN FEMALE ‘pundits’, who have confessed they know absolutely nothing about football, for their answers on the big questions….

Horse Racing Tips Saturday 3rd August – Glorious Goodwood Day 5

Horse Racing TipsGLORIOUS GOODWOOD DAY 5 TIPS – HOT SNAP CAN TURN UP THE HEAT ON SKY LANTERN IN THE NASSAU

The main event in terms of prestige at Glorious Goodwood on Saturday is the Markel Insurance Nassau Stakes, and there’s little doubt that Sky Lantern is the class act in this Group 1 contest for fillies and mares.

Given that she’s a 1000 Guineas and Coronation Stakes winner, the standout 5/2 on offer with William Hill about the daughter of Red Clubs will do for many punters. However, the forgotten horse is HOT SNAP who is too good to miss at 9/1 with Sky Bet in my opinion.

PSG vs Bordeaux – 7.45pm

First stop France and the Super Cup. Paris have invested heavily over the summer, the landmark signing being Edison Cavani who has been on the wish-lists of all of the top clubs over the last year. Bordeaux have only signed one player over the summer; Jeremie Brechet on a free transfer from Troyes. This should be a formality for PSG, however there haven’t been many goals between these two in recent memory.
