A Scandinavian Double Sunday 20th May – Follow In Form Hacken At Home
After doing so well last week with my Scandinavian bets last week, I’ve checked today’s fixtures and studied the form book, and have hopefully found another little gem of a double that pays 2/1. With all of Europe now on their summer holidays (except for Euro 2012), I’m going to keep my eye in on all of the Scandinavian football, as at the moment it has been a nice little earner, and could be the same throughout the summer until the Elite European leagues start again in August.
HACKEN v Djurgarden (4/7 888sport) 2.00pm
Hacken can continue in the style they played with last week where they beat Norrkoping 6-0.
Djurgarden have 6 points less than Norrkoping, but have shown signs that they are difficult to break down… They’ve drawn 4 of their last 5 games.
Hacken already have a +16 goal difference after just 10 games, and have banged in 19 goals in 5 games at home.
Hacken’s Ghanaian international Abdul Waris has scored 12 goals this season, including 5 in last weeks mauling of Norrkoping.
Staebek v HAUGESUND (10/11 888sport) 5.00pm
Staebek have has a miserable start to the season and have picked up just 1 point from 8 games. The very nature of their defeats suggest they are in for a really tough time this term, and their latest 0-5 home loss to Molde won’t do much to inspire confidence today.
Haugesund currently sit in 4th position on 16 points, and will feel they can get the 3 points here against a poor Staebek side. They have been accumulating more goals and points when at home, but are undefeated in their last 4 on their travels.
The double pays an industry best price of 2/1 at 888sport
